NSW Cricket Camps
We are thrilled to announce the NSW Cricket Camps, offering high-quality 2-day cricket clinics for boys and girls in regional NSW during the summer school holidays. Each clinic is led by an ex-Australian Test Cricketer, ensuring top-tier coaching and an enriching experience for all participants.
Camp Features:
Expert Coaching from Ex-Australian Test Cricketers:
Each clinic includes the expertise of former Australian Test cricketers who are committed to helping junior players develop their skills.
Comprehensive Training Program:
- Focus on all three formats of the game: T20, One Day, and Test Cricket
- Video analysis to assess and improve performance
- Speed guns to measure bowling speeds and track progress
- Net sessions, centre wicket practice, and modified games
- Written performance reports to track improvement over the two days
Experienced Coaching Team:
The camps are run by Shaun’s handpicked coordinators, and the Test players move between the groups to provide tailored guidance. SBCC general coaches will mentor each group, ensuring every player gets the attention they need.
Clinic Details:
Start Time: 9:00 AM (8:30 AM drop-off)
End Time: 3:00 PM
Gear Provided: Pads, gloves, bats, helmets, and protectors (if needed)
What to Bring: Lunch, snacks, and a drink bottle (please note, lunch is not provided)
Coach to Student Ratio: 1:12

Coaching Panel
Over the past 39 years our stellar coaching panel has consisted of over 50 former International Test Cricketers. Please see below a comprehensive list of all of our former coaches spanning from all over the world!
On the clinics we also have up to 100 Senior cricketers and current SBCC staff coaches who will be serving as group coaches on each of the camps.

Recent coaches over the past 2 years of the camps have included:
Doug Bollinger
Doug played 12 Test’s and 39 One Day International for Australia where he excelled in in the period around 2010. His 50 test wickets came at a great average of only 25.92 with best bowling of 5/28.
Jo Angel
Big Jo’ Angel was a loin hearted Fast bowler for WA where he took over 400 first class wickets. His sheer weight of wickets forced a selection in the strong Aussie Test and ODI teams. An outstanding coach of young talent on the SBCC camps.
Len Pascoe
Len is a former star fast bowler of World Series Cricket who delighted crowds with his speed and aggression. 14 Tests in the baggy green, ODI’s and years of first class toil for NSW places Len at the top of our coaching Panel.A duel representative of both Victoria and WA at First class level who after strong performances and a 5 wicket haul against the touring English team was called up to play 2 Test’s for Australia. Very accurate left arm orthodox spin saw him a mainstay for both the Perth Scorchers & Melbourne Stars where he took the new ball in the BBL.
Nathan Bracken
5 tests and 116 one day internationals, Nathan was a left arm fast bowler who excelled at the one day game. In 2008 he was rated as the number one bowler in ODI’s in the world!
Ray Bright
A veteran of 25 Test matches for Australia and current Victorian State selector. He is also a former vice-captain of Australia and a long-serving captain of Victoria. Ray played in both Centenary Test’s, World Series Cricket and was a hero of the famous ties Test vs India! Ray is the best spin bowling coach in the state.
